Malika Saada Saar and Imani Walker receive Leadership for Changing World Award


Internships

The Rebecca Project for Human Rights is seeking law, graduate, media, art and college students interested in advocating for family-based substance abuse treatment as an integral component of criminal justice policy, social-welfare policy and public education. High school students with excellent writing, research or computer skills may also apply.

Duties might include: developing and collecting research to support substance abuse treatment; drafting and editing public education and legislative materials; writing press releases and assisting in fundraising efforts.

Qualifications and Application Procedure:
Must be prepared to commit to at least four hours a week during the spring or fall semesters or at least 10 hours per week during the summer. All applicants receive a written confirmation within two weeks.
